First Beach LLC was founded in Charlottesville in 2017 to serve fast-growth businesses in Central Virginia with on-demand finance and administration expertise. First Beach services enable founders to focus confidently on sales and business growth by providing a cost-effective, as-needed resource for planning and scaling administrative and financial operations.
First Beach works with early-stage businesses to build out infrastructure and implement thoughtful management of finance and operations. First Beach also helps customers plan for rapid growth and financing processes, including preparing business plan documentation and financial projections, as well as evaluation of acquisition and expansion opportunities.

Our Story
About Jill Simandl
Ms. Simandl has over twenty years of senior finance and administration experience, ranging from initial business startups, through debt and equity fundraising, to successful sale and exit. She has held senior roles in retail, supply chain and IT/SaaS businesses, with concomitant experience in managing and leading projects to address systems and process challenges common to rapidly-growing enterprises.
Ms. Simandl holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Yale University and an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden Business School.
